As hard as it is to imagine, Patricia Cornwell's writing keeps getting better. This was my favorite novel so far. It did not have the usual hair-raising finale in a gunfight or some such ruckus but was thoughtful and realistic.
The subtle changes in Lucy's persona are intriguing and I am eagerly looking forward to the next adventure. |
