well... i was pretty disappointed when the boats came in yesterday. they were not fully assembled, i had to put them together using snap together parts and super glue that was provided. also, there is no rechargeable battery or battery charger, it takes 6 AA batteries. when the super glue finally dried i took it to the pool. there i found out that the motors are not equally powered and it pulls to the left. it only goes about 4 mph if that, it was advertised to go 15-20 mph. and the range of play is about 25-30 feet instead of the 300+ft range that was advertised. but 2 boats and a pushball game for $50 including shipping is ok enough for a backyard pool and some kids. my advice, dont get your hopes up about these boats but they are good toys but defiantly not hobby boats..

Its a great starter set for those interested in seeing if their child(ren) is/are interested at all in this sort of thing.

Having to put it together it (in roughly 8 steps) was educational as to how things work in general.
The instructions are terrible for a child, but useful guide for the adult helping them assemble it.

Sadly the boats east up a lot of battery so playtime is some what reduced.
Also... some water leaks into the boats. They won't sink, but they are eventually slowed down by the weight.

All that said, for the price, this is a good starter set, but don't expect too much.
