Excellent game, from the progression through levels to the track editor, the game is near perfect. My only complaint is the third type of vehicle is very undesirable, I've gone on line to race other people's tracks and no one is even using the third type. But the on line driving experience is even better with official rankings and the custom paint shop allows you to easily and endlessly customize your vehicle (Leopard skin my first choice). The speed and control are beyond impressive. Track Mania Sunrise is the perfect racing game with the ability to create the perfect track. The stunts and aerial effects are amazing with awesome camera effects during the jumps. Maybe next year they'll allow contact and collisions with on line racing. I'm not easily impressed and I own a dozen driving games including GT3, WRC, Test Drive, Need for Speed, and Midnight Club. Track Mania tops them all.

I remember back in the day when a little game called "Stunts" occupied hours of me and my friends' time. This game captures all the pure fun of that game and adds an slick, modern-day presentation on top of it (graphics are wonderful). The driving model is absolutely perfect for this type of game. You can steer, brake, and even accelerate while airborne, which makes executing precision jumps a sight to behold (and a joy to perform). In a day were most of the fifty dollar games I buy end up gathering dust before I feel I've obtained half of what I invested, it is a great joy to pickup a value priced game like TrackMania that just keeps me coming back for more. This is the ultimate game to have on your computer when you simply don't feel like investing hours on your favorite MMO, or the precision required to play Gran Turismo. This is one of the best computer games i've ever played(and i've played alot!) It has (like all games) both pros and cons

More pros than cons obviously. but the basics are this...
drive 1 of 3 EXTREAMLY fast cars. take it off jumps and go soaring millions of feet into the air. make your own tracks, play premade computer tracks, or go online and play other peoples tracks. (you can also load your own tracks onto the internet) and if you get bored doing that... you can customize your car with paint and... stuffs. Then if you get bored puttingt cutsie hearts alover your car ... you can watch replay of the things you've done. well??? as i said in my last review... DON'T JUST SIT THERE READING THIS REVIEW!!!!!!!!!! GET OUT THERE AND BUY THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take one part Dukes of Hazard, one part Tony Hawk Pro Skater, and two parts insanity and mix them inside of a Ferrari and you have Trackmania Sunrise.

Loops, corkscrews, quarter pipes, half pipes, turbo boosts, and wickedly long jumps are what this game is all about. And it all happens at such incredible (read unbelievable) speeds that the race is over before you even have a chance to be amazed.

Three car classes include exotic sports car, race car, and SUV (all unlicensed vehicles) and each has a series of tracks in every curcuit geared for that class of car. The exotic car races are where you find the insane jumps and loops and all other manner of track craziness. The SUV races usually involve jumping from platform to platform and rooftop to rooftop. The race cars are actually the most down to earth style of racing in the game, but far from realistic.

All of the races in the game are against the clock and the other cars on the track are ghosts just there to show you whether you're in for a first, second, or third place finish. There is no damage modeling in the game, and you can't make any sort of contact with the other cars on the track so forget about defensive driving when you're in the lead. They will just drive right through you.

If you like to suspend reality in your driving games and don't want the mission hassles of games like Grand Theft Auto, then Trackmania:Sunrise is a great diversion from your normal commute.

I just bought this game last night after being a big fan of the first game and this version is much improved.The graphics are probably the most obvious difference from the previous game and the driving surfaces are more varied and detailed. The driving physics also are more responsive than the first and each type of car really handles in a unique way.It was a great game before and it looks to be even greater this time out.

I just played the demo. Play the demo. You don't need my review. The demo will blow you away. While it is not as realistic as some driving sims aim to be, this driving sim is pure fun. Fun, fun, fun in a beautiful setting. I own Need For Speed Underground 2 and Hot Wheels World Race. This has the beauty of NFSU2 and goes well beyond the loops and curves of HWWR.

Like the previous reviewer, I have only played the demo. It will blow you away. The original trackmania was good; but this one is in a different league. It is not meant to be realistic. It is just meant to be fast, fun, and different. Massive jumps and drop offs are everywhere. On top of that the game is very clean, making it excellent for kids and adults alike. Play the demo and I know you'll buy the game.

This game is by far one of the best driving games out there. Try the demo for sure. Because you'll just die after you've tried it, to get the full that is ;). I played the demo and currently am having tms shipped to me. It is the best game i've played. The built in track builder really gives you a great experience to the game. It's very detailed and has lots of options. This game can practically run on a crap machine, to the highest end machine on the market and still make it go slow. The graphics are intense and will amaze you. Beautiful sunsets and everything. Well detailed enviroments, truely a awesome game for any gamer out there. Lots of fun that will keep you staying for more.

alright, this game rules. you can drive cars ridiculasly fast speeds. jump huge jumps. skip off water... this game rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you can plkay one player and ride premade tracks or make your own tracks. or you can hock your computer up to the internet and play online with other peoples tracks!!!!!

Well, the world needs to face it. THIS GAME IS AWESOME! The pros and cons are:

this game will last you FOREVER!!!!

CONS: Trackeditor complex at first, some pieces IMPOSSIBLE to figure out.
