Rare tracks, leftover numbers, and alotta fun,
This review is from: Tracks From a Broken Dream (Audio CD)
Hanoi Rocks, put out 5 great studio albums. Always a great band, both in the studio and live. The post humous "Tracks from a broken dream" collects stuff left off the album, alternate takes, and goofing off in the studio. A must have for completists. A necessity for any Hanoi/Mike Monroe fans. Not my favorite Hanoi Rocks release, but definitely worth the cash.

Hanoi Rock's most inventive collection,

Hanoi Rocks has always held a special place in rock history. Amongst all their collectible albums, this is the one that I think is the most collectible. Some of the songs are brilliant "other" takes which offer a whole different vibe to the original. There are some demo tracks as well as some hard to find stuff too. All in all, I think that every song on this CD is exceptional, especially for any Hanoi fan. Actually, this is now the only Hanoi Rocks CD that any of our group of fans listen to these days. Buy it!

This CD Is For True Fans,

As a long-time Hanoi Rocks fan, I can say that Tracks From A Broken Dream is the one Cd of theirs that I am trully proud that I own. No true fan should not have this CD. Inside contains some of the most rare songs from the band, including their hillarious "Do The Duck" which musically may not be so impressive but for a die-hard fan like myself, musically it is easy to also overlook and simply enjoy. Also contained on this CD is "Don't You Ever Leave Me", a bit faster, a bit punkier but suitable for airplay unlike the version on Bangkok Shocks. This CD goes on and on with good, quality rock n' roll from these 5 musicians who trully were ahead of their time but never recieved a chance to enjoy their "shining star". I recommend this CD to any die-hard fan out there, it's well worth the money.
