I have been in the Antique trade, including furniture for over 20 years and have yet to find a better product than Trade Secret! This system works incredibly well, especially the scratch cover followed by the polish. I don't even know how many of these kits I have gone through, but I suspect quite a few all of which produced the same wonderful results.........Covers scratches exceptionally well on all finished wood surfaces and the polish is fabulous to say the least. I have loaned my Trade Secret Restoration Kits to my friends and others in the Antique furniture trade and everyone raves about the great results.I must admit at first I thought, "Oh sure, just another product with a lot of hype and no results" but I was so wrong! I have used this restoration system on a great many pieces of Antique and even contemporary furniture in varying degrees of distress with GREAT results! The scratch cover liquid is like a magic eraser, sparingly wipe it on and superficial scratches vanish while it brings rich life back to even the most dry, and distressed pieces. The polish is rich and moisturizing, yet no mess, no constant rubbing or buffing and no waxy/greasy surface left behind. It wipes easily dry to a rich luster and doesn't leave that telltale waxy residue signature, which is seen with many cream polishes when you finish, yet swipe your finger across the surface only to see your print left behind because the polish just lies on the surface. Trade Secret is truly an inexpensive way to restore life to furniture or even just keep your furniture in good condition. Trade Secret takes virtually no effort to apply, no mess and you are left with stunning results! I have also used both the restoration liquids and the polish separately depending on my particular needs...........Get a superficial scratch, just gently wipe a tiny amount to disguise while you can also use the polish, as I do for monthly maintenance too. The only other product I have found to be, almost as efficient is Howards Restore a Finish however it is a bit more complicated to use, as you must match colors and it is much more potent, as far as smell, hence better suited for outdoor, ventilated use. Trade Secret dark wood restorer works on ALL medium to dark woods and the light wood restorer works on all lighter woods, no color match necessary. Trade Secret is also very scent friendly, thus can easily be used indoors with no problem. The one thing to remember is there is no polish or restoration liquid I have found that will work on furniture surfaces which lack all or some of their existing finish, have areas of missing finish or deep penetrating scratches. Although Trade Secret is a fabulous restoration product bringing new life to your furniture it is not a miracle, which will allow you to take a piece that is beyond restoration, hence needs stripping/sanding/staining and restore it. You must have intact finished wood to begin with in order to restore when using a product to restore. Certainly Trade Secret will restore mild to moderately distressed, superficially scratched, lack luster wood surfaces in need of restoration enhancement, but it will not eliminate the need for badly abused pieces, which lack intact finished wood surfaces and/or have deep gouges to be restored sans the traditional route of refinishing. Basically Trade Secret does exactly what it states and more by providing you with a very superior restoration product and I think it is fabulous in this respect! I highly recommend this product and I will continue to buy and use it!

I ordered the Trade Secret starter kit from an infomercial nearly ten years ago and could not have been more pleased. I'm just now using the last of that kit and am so thankful this product is still available. It is absolutely magical! It simply erases scratches from wood furniture, as well as cabinets and baseboards. A large scratch on our back door left from a dog who was impatient to go outside simply vanished with one swipe of the scratch remover. I lent it to my sister, who was absolutely amazed by the results. I will never use anything else!
