5.0 out of 5 stars Mis-marketed
This is far better suited to artists and hobbiests'. I bought one at BiMart a few years ago for a lot less money. I used it for water color classes I was taking at the time. I was tired of trying to carry everything around in several bags. This unit was perfect. A full roll of paper towels will fit inside the lower drawer. I used the top lift out tray for my brushes...

3.0 out of 5 stars OK not great
This unit is pretty cool in concept and OK but not great in reality. Overall, it's a fairly decent unit. However, I found that the lower drawer was frustrating to open. The all-plastic construction with no drawer slides made it sort of stick. If there was any weight from above, the door would jam and be even harder to open.

Aside from that, a pretty good unit. But don't expect to be able to pound on this thing for years to come. My son is eyeing it pretty heavily for organizing his legos. A perfect application for this unit.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great organization, not heavy duty, February 17, 2009
This review is from: Trademark Tools 75-2050 XO Peak Deluxe Mobile Workshop and Toolbox (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is a great way to organize and store things, but the plastic construction does not stand up well. It's best used for lite weight arts & craft type supplies. Don't expect to hold heavy tools in it.

I use it for medical supplies, and even that tends to put too much weight in it and casue the drawers to sag and make them difficult to open. The top compartment seperates from the bottom, but don't expect to be able to remove it easily without snapping of the clips that hold it together and then it cannot be held back together. I had mine for only a couple month before they clips snapped one day when it got knocked over. It is not held together with a small piece of rope connecting the top to the bottom on one side.

The organizational design is great. The lid will create a flat shelf if you have the handle up when you open it. There is a tray in the top compartment, a removable small organizer on the front out of clear plastic, one mid size drawer with removable dividers and one large drawer.

1.0 out of 5 stars unuseable drawers, December 3, 2009

I bought this tool box to store my hobby tools. The bottom drawers (which are 40% of the storage space) are unusable because the spring continues to pop out. I am unable to use this toolbox except for the top space. A total waste of money. Too bad because it looks great.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great concept; lousy construction!, August 20, 2010

The design is best on the market. Materials of construction are cheap and shoddy. Plastic pins are used to hold the handle and top lid in place. The top compartment snaps into slots. ALL failed with first few uses. I replaced the plastic lid hinge with a continuous piano hinge that I riveted in place. I fastened the top compartment to the base with 1/4" machine bolts. The top handle folds up with a slide latch. That broke and I fabricated a metal bracket to replace it. Now, I've got a damn fine carrier! If the manufacturer would take care of the problems I've identified, they would have the best tool cart available. Love the compartments. I would like the bottom drawer to be a little deeper, however. As for price, if the construction was upgraded as I've described here (and it can: they used an inferior grade of plastic for most construction and should use metal where I've noted), it would be worth the price.

I used the top lift out tray for my brushes. Loved having all the different separations for my paints and brushes. I always thought the upper part was able to be taken off but never pushed my luck. Without a lot of weight distorting them (as tools might) the drawers work fine. It's so nice to be able to pop it out of the car, pull up the handle and roll off to class. Park it next to your chair and you'll have less stuff strewn all over your table. Artists have tons of the extra room for brush washers, bottles of painting medium, rolls of tape etc. I used the front lift light colored plastic divided tray for my paints. I'm sure there are endless hobbies it could be used for.. it seems like a natural for scrap bookers and sewing hobbies. Would be a great asset to plein air artists. And just as important- it keeps all your supplies stored in one place ready to go for next time. The wheels work fine on pavement. You'll have to carry it on gravel.

While this tool box is not the strongest one I have used it does have what I wanted in a tool box. It has lots of small storage compartments and the two big storage areas.

I bought this for my wife to store horse show supplies in. When it arrived, some of the plastic tabs that hold it together, were broken. I used super glue and glued them on and all seems well. Other than that, it seems to be fine.

Excellent design but like others say, very cheap drawer latches. Drawers are difficult to open and close, plastic is a bit too flimsy.

5.0 out of 5 stars They needed a large tool box., December 26, 2011

A large tool box was on the Christmas list. I was very happy with the quality and price of this tool box. If it came in pink I think I could use it for crafting supllies. The various sizes of storage spaces makes it very versatile. You can separate into two pieces if you only need to take a portion of your tools, but if everything is needed it has wheels and a second handle that comes up similar to luggage. It is easy to move around. I wonder if there shouldn't be latches to secure the top to the bottom section; but maybe once tools are inside they wouldn't be needed.

First day I used it, it fell apart and I purchased a new tool box by Stanley.
My husband said the clips that held it together fell off and he drilled nails to hold it together. Not happy.
