The picture doesn't do it justice. It's heft and balance are remarkable. The coloring is perfect and without any flaws that my son or I could detect. He is anxious to get to a practice place to try out moves, but because he deeply respects the sword he knows not to "play" with it, it's for keeps.

This sword is very beautiful. However, it is stainless steel, and when my son polished it with stainless steel cleaner, it rusted. Luckily, a gentle scubbing with lemon juice and baking soda helped.
