4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy Knife
Not sure why all these other folks are having issues with it. Mine is extremely solidly built. It feels like it could handle a lot of abuse, but I could see how someone might break it by constantly fiddling with the blade. It didn't come very sharp but that's an easy fix for me as I have an electric sharpening stone and leather. Anyway, its very solid but still kind of...

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible rip off for two reasons.
This was the worst knife I've ever purchased. I was under the assumption that this was an Italian made Falcon brand stiletto. In fact this was a cheaply made Chinese brand. This was the worst knife I've ever purchased. I was under the assumption that this was an Italian made Falcon brand stiletto. In fact this was a cheaply made Chinese brand. After my initial disappointment of discovering this was'nt the knife I thought it was, I soon discoverd the stiletto locking mechanism was'nt catching the blade pin at the back of the blade. This left the knife partially ajar when it was opened. After opening and closing the knife a few times, the blade pin fell off, leaving the knife completely worthless. Thanks for nothing!

3.0 out of 5 stars Meh, January 10, 2011

I purchased this knife as my first stiletto. Unlike other people who purchased the knife i did some research and knew what i was buying. This is a folder, like most stilettos out there, however it does not have a thumb stud, which makes it a two hand opener. Stiletto refers to blade shape by the way.
The knife is mildly handsome and quite large, probably too large to carry. This knife is for one thing and one thing only, stabbing. If you are looking for a decent edc, or nice utiliy knife DONT BUY THIS!, it will break and you will be very annoyed. Problem is if you were carrying this for self defense, there is no way to deploy this quickly. Its nice cheap piece for my collection but honestly stays in my drawer where it belongs. Try an mtech folder, my friend has one and they seem to be of better quality and can be flicked out.

This is not a bad knife and if it wasnt what you thought then maybe you should read before you buy. The knife came very sharp for me, works great and have had no problems with it not locking in. Idk this could be a product thats 50-50 on being good or not. Its not expensive so no need to get mad if it breaks or doesnt work. I like the knife.

I got my order fairly quick, but didn't get the knife I ordered! I will however let it slide, because I did get a pretty sturdy knife, but I would like some sort of compensation, as it is not as good as what I ordered.

This knife is amazing! I ordered it planning for it to get to me Monday to Wednesday, and I found it on my doorstep Friday afternoon! VERY FAST! The knife itself is much more than I expected for $10, its got a solid metallic build (looks like iron but i wouldn't know) and a REAL WOOD handle! The blade can be sharpened a bit, but this flicks open fast and is very durable feeling (especially for the price) I feel like I just got a $50 knife, i love it. The only flaw is its a little hard to close, you need to push the button really hard and fold the blade back in.
110/100

one of my employees collects knives so for Christmas I purchased the rite edge knife. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the handle and blade. I own an Italian made version made in the 1950's and the new knife was every bit as well made than the expensive one. Simply put a great value.
