Follow directions on how to use them closely. If inserted the correct way they work fine. But takes some time to get the bulbs working properly.

I had high hopes for these glass globes, they are very beautiful to see, however once inserted into the dirt of your planted pot the thin stem will fill up with that dirt over time, and is impossible to remove. The globe remains full of water for weeks because it so full of compacted dirt that it prevents any water from dripping out. The stems are flimsy and break easily, they're fussy to unclog if you even can, I don't recommend this product.

I own the original globes as well as the mini ones. I got these to help keep my outdoor plants alive in the heat. These are bigger than the ones that come in the 2 packs and work just as well! i was really excited when I saw how big they were and that they came in assorted colors. I got 2 that were the featured color, as well as a light blue and an orange.

When it comes time to refill, you will need some patience , all my plants have them and they do save time ! Would recommend using a dowel approximately the same size as stem , as they are very fragile , and break quite easily !!

They seem to be working as stated. Plants are still alive and happy. My only concern is that they are made of glass.

Bought these specifically for a plant that always dries out within days. I thought it would keep the plant watered for at least a couple of weeks. It does keep the plant moist for the week, but always needs refilling at the end of the week. (FYI, this plant is only in a 6" pot, so it's really not that much soil.) I'd say it's ok and worth the couple of bucks for each one, but it's not a miracle worker and if you're going away on an extended vacation, you will still need someone to come in once a week or so to water/refill.
