4.0 out of 5 stars Pringles Can Diversion Safe
I ordered two of the Pringles Can Diversion Safes for Christmas gifts for two of my younger grandchildren. They were thrilled with both the "Pringles" and the money I added in the 'safe'. Made a cute, original way to give a money gift.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, considering
Fit and finish is a little rough. Looks good, works well, but is not as well built as other diversion safes (pop or metal cans seem best).

I bought this item as a gift for my teenage daughter for Christmas. I just received it yesterday. There is a huge UPS sticker stuck to the can - so you can't even see most of it. I tried to peel it off and it started to take the image off. The safe portion of the can is put together very poorly. I also didn't receive the same product pictured - it was a green can and some language was in arabic or something.
I returned it today. I did order another one from a different company in the hopes that it will be better quality. I will have it in time to give as a gift still, but hopefully the quality is better - at the very least not a sticker over the can!

Despite the previous review about this product arriving with a giant label on it, I took a chance that I'd have a different experience buying from TradeMark Home, and ordered one, as I saved $$ over the nearest competitor. This was a stupid idea on my part. Either this seller has a terrible sense of humor, putting large white labels with a single bar code on the paper-covered exterior of their product, or they just sent me the can that the previous reviewer returned. While this shipped through Amazon, and so arrived in time for Christmas (thank you, Amazon Prime!), the giant (we're talking 3"x5") sticky label wrapped around 3/4 of the paper-covered Pringles can shows this seller has a complete disregard for the quality of their product. I gave the gift anyway, as my nephew who was receiving it still thought it was as cool as could be, I didn't have time to buy a different one, (my fault for procrastinating and being frugal) and the slightly roughed-up appearance of the exterior - after I'd carefully removed the sticker as best I could - provided for a more "worn" Pringles-can appearance, which could better deceive any thieves who might attempt to steal his Lego mini-figs (nephew promptly inserted mini-figs upon opening his gift). The real Pringles chips inside the top of the sealed, lidded, can are a nice, authentic touch to this diversion safe. As another reviewer mentioned, the construction is not the best, but I think it's a fair job, considering you're starting with a flimsy cardboard chip-tube. If I'd had time to return this, I would have, due to the sticker being not only tacky (both sticky and shoddy) but also slightly destructive. All in all, my purchase of it worked out, but if you can, I'd spend a few more dollars and buy from someone else.

LOL
They would eat the chips on top and toss the can. Hah hah
Better stick with the Barbasol can....like on Jurasic Park. LOL
Also, it's unlikely a thief would want to shave...but he could be hungry. :)
