5.0 out of 5 stars Casino Party
We bought several items for my daughter's "Casino Night" party. These chips were great! They really added to the authenticity of the night. Based on other reviews, I knew that the case handle would not support the weight of the chips but they were a great deal anyway!

2.0 out of 5 stars Great Chips - Bad Case Handle, February 1, 2010

Recently hosted a 45 person tournament so we ordered 2 of these sets. The chips do not come in the case (they are wrapped separately) and thats fine. The problem is the case handles. One broke before the chips were even in it. A close look and you can see the handle looks rather cheap.
When the chips are loaded in the case (as they will be when ever you use the handles) it is way to heavy for this cheap plastic handle. It is a bummer because the chips are fine.

As stated before, the chips are excellent and will last a long time, with a good distribution. However, the only problem is the cheap feel of the handle- I don't trust carrying it by the handle, as I feel it will snap on the slightest bump. Either way, it's a worthwhile investment as long as you aren't planning to carry it around.

The chips are just as expected: decent quality and great for large group poker nights. There is even room in the case for a few extra chips... so why not make room for a couple of decks of cards, and throw in a dealer button or two. Oh well. For the price ($76 w/ free shipping) this is by far the best deal on a quality set of 11.5g chips. Typically would pay 120-150 for this set of 1000. And since 1000 chips is needed for larger tournaments, I can see why you wouldn't worry about putting a deck or two of cards in the case... I need 8-10 decks.
Case is good quality, and the foam rubber keeps the chips from shifting around if the case isn't full. I will get years of use for our monthly poker tournaments with this set.
Bottom line... great deal!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Can't get the right colors and quantities, March 11, 2009

I ordered this chip set and then called to change the desired colors and quantities as the description said you could. I recieved the default colors and quantities any way. I called customer service and they said no problem, send the chip set back and they would send my desired colors etc. Well I got the next set and the same thing happened. Default colors and quantity. Even though it says in the description that you can change colors and quantities to suit your needs, you can't. The default colors shown are useless. Who needs 350 white chips and only 50 green chips? Price was okay considering that shipping is included.
