Great little rack
I found this to be a great little sword rack for a cheap price. Others have mentioned that the wood splits when tightening screws. I did find this to be true, but in looking for it as I went, I was able to keep it to a minimum and it has not affected the integrity of the rack. I have hung it up on the wall and it is holding a sheathed Samurai sword just fine. Can't beat...

Nice sword rack, but be careful during assembly
When I first started to drive the screws into the pre-drilled holes the wood started to split. I stopped and removed the screw and drilled a slightly larger hole for the screws and the assembly went well after drilling the holes larger.

Cheap!,
This item is cheap, figuratively and literally!
It did not come with the 2 brass hooks as advertised. Actually, it has to be mounted to the wall with screws. I guess it will suffice until I decide to buy a more expensive rack. |
