I used to be a die-hard fan of Giovanni products. Their Tea Tree Triple Treat conditioner is about $7.99 for 8.5 oz, and then I came across this Tea Tree Tingle at Trader Joe's, 16 oz for $3.99! I first noticed that it smelled exactly the same as Giovanni's conditioner, and when I checked the ingredients, I found that they are EXACTLY the same! So you get twice the amount of product for half the price!!! Needless to say, I was thrilled! When I tried it, I was even more thrilled because I think it feels and works BETTER than Giovanni! It left my hair extremely soft and voluminous. It's really great stuff. They were out of the shampoo when I was there, so hopefully I can pick some of that up next time.
This is a wonderful totally, natural/organic product at a comparable price to a chemical-laden competitor.

One note- Do NOT buy this through Amazon! $8.95 (list price- $12?!) + $6.49?!? Buy It at TJ's, it's $3.99 a bottle (+ tax)! Can't imagine why it's so much online, ridiculous!

I learned about this conditioner in the natural hair circuit and decided to go to my local Trader Joe's to give it a try. OMG my hair absolutely loves this stuff. The consistency is nice a thick and creamy. I LOVE the smell.
Once I put it on my curls, they just melt like butta! This is a staple product for me and you can't beat the price!

I have been natural for a year and a half and this product is the absolute best! I will say I wish there was a Trader Joe's closer to where I live because it only cost $4 a bottle in store and online it is about $10-$14 I don't like that but what can I do... As far as the product, I have incredibly long THICK hair and this is the only product that was slick enough to work with. I have tried a number of conditioners (Aubrey Organics, Giovanni's, Shea Moisture, ..the list could on forever) but I give you my word that you will not regret this purchase! ^-^

"I love the product... I am african american and I have tight coils and I used Trader Joes Tea Tree tingle cond. after shampooing with Sage Anti Dandruff Shampoo(maple holistics) and the 2 products 2gether are great for Natural hair! Both products are free from chemicals we should stay away from. I'm transitioning, w/out the big chop. The smell is amazing!!!
TIP: Dry your hair before adding conditioner, so the hair can absorb more Conditioner and Less of the water after you shampoo.
Also use the green house effect while conditioning. (bag your conditioning hair while you shower).

I've only tried this product once since getting it the other day, but so far I love it! It has great "slip" and feels like butter on my kinky textured hair.

using the tea tree tingle shampoo & conditioner has made my (coarse/straight) hair shinier than it has ever been. the conditioner does not smell overwhelmingly like mint as the shampoo does, but when my hair is dry it doesn't end up smelling like anything anyway. my hair is on the drier side and i feel that this conditioner does more than an adequate job of moisturizing without weighing my hair down.

I love this conditioner. I am natural and I have thick hair and usually have difficulty detangling, but this conditioner slides through my hair like magic. This has now become my staple product. I definitely recommend this conditioner, you'll love it.

the second to last ingredient listed is Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate which if you look it up through the EWG cosmetic database lists it as a formaldehyde releaser. I'm annoyed since it was so promising until I read that.
