Hulet, preparada por um dos coordenadores. Em Abril de 2007, o Departamento de Espanhol e Português da UCLA celebrará o trigésimo aniversário do Simpósio sobre Tradições Portuguesas / Portuguese Traditions, de que o Professor Hulet foi o fundador e organizador durante estas três décadas e que tem atraído centenas de estudiosos da lusofonia de todo o mundo. O livro inclui ensaios de universitários portugueses, brasileiros e norte-americanos. This volume is a collection of essays on Lusophone culture, from literature to folklore to linguistics. Brazilian and Portuguese literatures, including Azorean, are broadly represented. The collection opens with a mini-autobigraphy by Professor Claude L. Hulet, assembled by one of the co-editors of the volume who was his student. In April 2007, the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, UCLA, celebrates the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Symposium on Portuguese Traditions organized by Professor Hulet and which has attracted hundreds of Lusophone scholars from all over the world. Tradições Portuguesas / Portuguese Traditions includes essays by well-known scholars of Brazilian and Portuguese literature, as well as folklorists and linguists.
