Well written and easy to read book describing Joe's unique trading patterns and methods. I liked his straight forward, no BS choice of words and his methods of fibonacci confluence does have some merit, but it isn't for everyone. This is best intended for a swing trader, as daytrading is likely to be too quick paced in order to figure out confluence areas.

There were some vague rules regarding his entry and exit methods with the Fibonacci numbers and when you actually start to apply his methods to your own trading, you will likely be left with more questions than answers. Not necessarily a bad thing, as all you can really ask from a book is a few new things to try out and see if it applies to your trading.

I first learned about Joe DiNapoli from an interview on The Personal Investor's Hour. I was impressed enough to listen to the interview twice and check out his book. The book seemed interesting until I read the reviews here. There were 6 "this is the best book ever written" anonymous reviews all within 1 week and only 2 other reviews over 3 years. Obviously, the author or his friends writing "ringer" reviews. In spite of this I bought the book anyway.

There were several good things that I learned. Nothing earth shattering or truly remarkable. You could trade his system and probably do very well.

Overall, it was good book and I would buy it again.

Trading with DiNapoli Levels, is a thoroughly professional and illuminating work. Great care has been taken by the author throughout, to be precise and clear to the reader, stressing the importance of understanding the subject matter correctly.

Despite the common belief, that trading is realtively easy, particularly since the proliferation of on-line access to virtually every possible market, it is not. It is for this reason that those serious about educating themselves in trading, need lucid and easy to understand instruction.

Trading with DeNapoli Levels achieves this and much more. The author draws upon his considerable trading experience, in general and in the use of Fibonacci analysis and application, in particular. There is no doubt that Fibonacci relationships are an intrisic part of life.

Whether this be in architecture, science or finacial markets, Fibonacci relationships abound. Trading with DeNapoli Levels provides detailed insight into Fibonacci tactics for trading. Most usefully, outlining a complete trading plan, from how to enter and exit trades safely, with clearly defined targets.

The author also addresses key money-management questions and aspects of trading psychology which are all important to the trader. This book is a must for every trader and offers much more than the title suggests. This is trading education at its very best and is highly recommended.

I have bought this book after attending a conference given by the same Joe Dinapoli himself, I have to confess that the subject of Trading with Fibonacci levels interested me but the conference was really ahead of my knowledge in a lot of concepts so I decided to buy the book to have a profit of this seminar. The book begins in a friendly maner, Chapters 1,2 & 3, but slowly gets tougher in later chapters. You have to understand a couple of Technical analysis concepts to approach this book, Mr Dinapoli doesn't stop to explain what a Moving average is, either a MACD, Stochastic or else. Instead he defines their own parameters for calculate these appropiately arguing a lot of research and backtest in these parameters. The Directional indicators chapter is difficult to understand in some types of indicators since several of them require understanding of Fibonacci and Dinapoli Levels (that he explains in later chapters), seems like Joe tries to classify subjects very strictly despite the risk of being unclear in some areas (even after reading Dinapoli Levels it seems difficult understand a couple of these indicators yet, at least for me, more diagrams or examples will help...). A thing I believe for certain, good understanding will require re-reading and re-reading several times of some chapters, also a good numerical and mathematic skills is a lot of help (not that you require to be a big nerd in mathematics...) I am a Engineer in elelctronics and also have a degree in telecommunication theory so mathematics is not so hard for me and I could tell you that understanding some of the concepts in this book requires a keen mental ability. Any way I could say this is a good book but it will take time to master it. I have tried a couple of the technics with some success, probably because I don't really understand completly all the things mentioned in the book, I think I could improve. If you are willing to spend a while and re-reading some chapters in this book to master it, buy it. In other case try another more basic approach to trading with another book and that explains more basic concepts from the begining.

This book has it all, I love the precise details of trading with fibonacci numbers, and how to use them to my advantage.

The beauty is that this method can be applied to any time frame, be it 1 minute or monthly charts, Dinapoli levels hold well across all time frames. You know in advance where support or resistance is going to come in, allowing me to plan my entry before the price gets there. WOW

The book is well written and easy to understand, making it a must read on anyones list.

From trend trading to pattern recognition, this book has it all. A complete trading technique with no holes barred, absolutely awesome.

This is the best book on trading I have ever read.The author shares his many years of trading experience with the readers.
His simple but POWERFUL trading tools in the book if followed, will put you in position to win at trading.
The book taught me money management, entry and exit placement , profit objectives and gave me a trading planto follow.
I have read a lot of trading books over the years, but since reading this book I have not had a need to read any others.
I'm a profitable trader now because of the information made
available in this book.

When a typical novice trader finally grew out of blind faith with black box mechanical systems, this book will open up a whole new different world of trading. This book is the only source discussing directional signal based on moving averages whereas the popular directional signals such as Divergence involves some type of oscillators. It's quite unique.
The directional signal known as 'Double Repo' is worth the price of the book.

This book was written for college grads and not for the man in the street.The first few pages have some merit,but the book gets very complicated and difficult to understand after that.
I think that the best trading approach should be simple to understand and easy to follow,this book does not fit those
criteria.Master the Markets by Tom Williams is a much better reading.

I have been trading futures and stocks since 1995. I not only have bought many books about trading but also attended seminars conducted by some trading gurus. However, I have learned more from this book than from the sum of any other books and seminars. The key difference betwenn this book from other books and seminars is that it gives out a detailed and ACTUALLY WORKABLE trading plan any trader can apply in the markets and make REAL MONEY. One of my trading buddies told me about this book four years ago. I have been using the methods taught in this book ever since! I wish I have known had this book much earlier so that I would have saved the money I spent on other books and the money I lost in the markets.
