It's that van again !,
By Emma (UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Trading Tatiana (Paperback)
Like the second series of Shameless, this novel is darker and better than the first.
Although more contemplative, there are thrills, spills and acrobatics as Tatiana flees her men in black. Of course the Nirvanans, seen here in a vertiginous perspective through the eyes of Jo, get in on the action, until the unexpected ending, poignant with buddhist resonances, resolves everybody's struggle. This is a book glowing with humanity. You could warm your hands on it.

A delicious read,

This review is from: Trading Tatiana (Paperback)
Debi Alper plunges you right into the action with an ex drug addict, compulsively helpful heroine whose penchant for rescuing any man, woman or animal in distress catapults her into big trouble with the Eastern European underworld of London's gritty east side.
A delicious read, with great characterization and lots of suspenseful twists and turns. |
