Author collected a bunch of quotes that most people would have already known about and published them in a book. Pretty much all quotes came from people on stocktwits. He did a good job linking quotes to the original authors but I can see no reason for having this book. Save your money and go to the site yourself if you want to read and follow a hundred different people.

I must congratulate Brian for his excellent job.
I wrote to him some time ago that he must publish it as a book and sell it in Amazon.
As one of Amazon top clients (as I am a lover of trading related books from TA to psychology) and a PhD in losses (my risk capital) before becoming a successful macro risk taker for a family office for the past 5 years, his creation is one of the top 10 books that I ever read.
It is so rare to see real risk takers talk about trading vs the sales industry trying to sell something to risk takers...
It is there with Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, Market Wizards and P.Brandt's Diary of a Professional Commodity Trader .
The reader will be lucky to find and read this book at his start of his trading life.Otherwise he will pay a lot of money to learn the vital lesson of this great book.

Fantastic book with least technical jargon and practical advise.
Read, re-read and read one more time to change the way you invest.
Follow the principles, control your losses and everything else is destiny.

This book gives excellent advice and reminders for traders of all levels. The focus is on the mental aspect of trading, rather than about technical or fundamental strategies which lends itself well to being read again and again.

I've followed Brian's blog forever and learned more from him and this book than I did from years of brokers and other financial bloggers. Brian is smart, insightful and even honest.

Read the book, trade smarter and when you have an opportunity read the blog.

Cheers

Dennis

There are a lot of trading books out there. A majority of them are boring with an overabundance of information..... a lot of it which have outdated strategies. Over the years there have been a few books I have come across that are worth reading. The ones written by real traders telling their stories (the good and the bad) who have experienced the ups and downs of trading. Brian's book is exactly this. A collection of stories/quotes/real life trading experiences from real traders out there who actually pull the trigger on a trade. While this book is a MUST for any new trader looking to get into the game, it's also great for experienced traders. One can never know "everything" about trading and can always better his/her trading skills. This book is put together in a way that's very easy to follow and a quick read. The kind of trading book that isn't one where you read it and it goes on the shelf.....it's the type of book (like a Market Wizards type book) where you will want to read it a few times a year to remind yourself of certain things.

Brian Lund has done a terrific job of distilling the "wisdom" of a wide range of traders. It is a short book and is one that you can dip into. Each of the so-called tips is a statement of philosophy or trading tactics that really makes you think. Another bonus is that there is a link to each of the trader's websites and StockTwits feed.

On Brian's blog, he makes it very clear that the proceeds from sales of this book will go to the McKenna Claire Foundation which supports pediatric brain cancer research. One more reason to buy this very useful book

Brian is one of the best financial/markets writers our there these days and this is a nifty little book full of the smarts of many of the other best market investors/traders on the interwebs these days. Worth the pittance that it costs, especially since the proceeds go to a great cause.
