This matcha tastes a little bitter because it's not the highest quality, but it's awsome for MANY things. If you mix up a large batch in cold water and let sit in the fridge overnight, you'll have cold brew matcha with little or NO bitterness. Very smooth flavor when brewed that way. I make about a gallon at a time and when I pour some I add a splash of milk that gives it some substance and really enhances the other flavors. Also it works great for making any type of green tea dessert.

This is good stuff, but I would like to point out that this tea is Taiwanese, not Japanese. As far as I'm concerned, it's just as good as the Japanese and a lot cheaper, but truth in advertising is important.

I received this item within 3 days! I have not had any other Matcha to compare to but this item tastes great! The flavor is like green tea should taste. The powder is fine and it doesn't look like low grade. The tea can be very powerful and I found that about 1 spoon scoop is enough for 1 full coffee size cup of water. You might need to test the strength amount you prefer. The price is great for the amount of tea you get! I would recommend this to whom ever likes green tea.

As Expected
The green tea powder was as I hoped and expected. I purchased it in order to make my own green tea frappacinos at home and it was exactly what I needed. The flavor was great.
