great book excellent condition,

Anyone wanting to learn more about Chinese formulas in a more easy to understand manner, I highly recommend this book. It explains each formula and has test questions in the back of each chapter along with the answers on the following page. My favorite is where it compares similar formulas together side by side in a chart format so you can see the similarities and the differences. It also tells you which formulas are on the state board and at the end of the book it has test questions in a state board manner on only the formuals for state boards.
I am planning to take the state boards in less than 1 year and I plan to refer to this on a daily basis to help me fully understand each formula. It is also a book one could always to refer to if ever needed. It is by far one of my favorite formulas book. Check it out you wont regret it.

I use this text as a study guide for the formulas class I teach. There is only one mistake...
The category: Formulas that Treat Dryness (pgs. 157-169)in Bensky's Formulas & Strategies text are missing completely from this study guide.. Important formulas missing: Qing zao jiu fei tang Sha shen mai men dong tang Bai he gu jin tang Bu fei e jiao tang Mai men dong tang Zeng ye tang Yu ye tang Otherwise, this is an effective and highly organized study guide with Excellent Study Questions and Detailed Explanations for the Answers. The comparison charts and practice questions in the back make this well worth the purchase. This is not a substitute for a source text, but helps to make the information easier to digest.

great study guide for NCCAOM examinations. The only shortfall is that it does not provide modifications of the traditional formulas, which is heavily emphasized on most examinations.
overall, very helpful in compare-contrast of similar formulas.
