Very good balance in the recording, and an outstanding selection gives an overview of Deutsche Militarmusik over the past two centuries. I find the CD to be well worth the price. I recommend this album to military march buffs.

If you are looking for German March music that is preformed in true German style,you won't be disappointed with this CD. Most of the selections on this recording were composed during the imperial of Germany.
The recording was done in the late 1980 and is of good sound quality.
