This is one of the best collections of traditional Hungarian music I have heard, with a great diversity of material and authentic performances. The only frustrating thing about it is the lack of notes that come with it. Nothing on the performers, the instruments, or even when and where the things were recorded. Would have liked to track down the performers and look for other recordings, but just not possible. But it is rewarding to listen to nonetheless.
