I was a skeptic, but it really does work!,

My daughter is five months old. Since I went back to work when she was 11 weeks, I have difficulty finding time to pump often enough during my twelve-hour shifts to maintain my milk supply. In addition to that, she night-weaned at two months. So I noticed my milk production was decreasing, but not so much that it was a problem. Then, in the past couple of weeks, the milk production dropped off quite a lot, and then my period returned. (I was hoping it would stay away for at least another month or two)
At that point, I was only able to pump 1 oz from each side, nowhere near enough to feed her while I was at work. When I was at home, I felt like all I did was breastfeed. A decrease in milk production is common when menstruation returns, but I had no idea mine would take such a hit! It was awful. I set aside an entire day and did nothing but rest, hydrate, and nurse. I also ordered Mother's Milk tea. I was encouraged by the positive reviews! The tea arrived in two days, and in the meantime I was lucky enough to have a few days off to spent with my baby. It tastes like black licorice. Loss of one star for the flavor. It's not the best, but not horrible either. Certainly worth it! My best advice for making the tea more palatable: 1. Brew it strong. I use about 5oz water. 2. Sweeten with honey 3. Drink it hot. So I had a cup in the morning, and one in the evening... Then when I woke up the following morning I was engorged. I have been drinking it regularly and I see a definite and consistent increase in milk production. I haven't been able to pump this much since I was still on maternity leave! I've actually been engorged a few times since starting the tea, and honestly there is nothing else I can attribute it to. It's too much of a sudden improvement to be anything else. I try to have 2 or 3 cups per day.

Worked very well for me and fast! By the end of the first day and three glasses of tea I felt almost engorged! Now I just drink a cup or two a day and it really is helping. I wish I had known about this product with my first child.

Overall, I have been really happy with this tea. It def works for me and I don't mind the taste just add a little lemon or honey.
Also seems to have helped a little with my daughter's gassiness and spit up issues. I would recommend this to a friend.

Tea for Breastfeeding,

This tea is awesome. I'm not sure how much it actually increases production but I had very few problems breastfeeding while drinking the tea. I never got any infections and rarely encountered plugged ducts. I loved the taste too. I would drink this tea even if I weren't nursing. I think it also really helps with my baby's digestion. Diapers seem to be pretty regular.

I have had many supply issues since BF'ing my son. The Mothers Milk tea does wonders! I highly recommend adding some honey to it though. It really helps the taste be a bit more bareable.

I combined this tea with Fenugreek seed capsules and I could tell a difference after the first day! I'm not engorged by any means, but I definitely pump more milk than I did before.

Along with adding fenugreek to recipes such as curries and stews, I like to drink teas such as this which contain fenugreek. 3 cups of tea per day boosts my milk supply when I need it. It has a mild, sweet flavor. If you enjoy tea and are breastfeeding, this is a good choice.
