the book is no good in comparison to the test save your time and money.go online and get practice tests for the AT-SAT for about 28 dollars for 10 tests per subject and get the green book for general knowledge. I would also do a search looking for forums that talk about the test they will help with the expectations for the test.

THis book has an incredible amount of typos in the sections where you check your answers. Without exaggeration, I have found 20-30 incorrect answers that this book lists as "correct". I haven't even finished the testing sections yet!Still, there is a good sample of questions. It will no doubt assist you in your at sat preparation. However, just because you miss an question, don't assume you missed it. Check the book's work. Often, your answer is correct, and the book has a mistype.

This book claims it's like having the test in advance. Nothing could be further from the truth.First of all, it wastes your time having you study information about Air Traffic controllers and navigational aids ect. This is not part of the AT-SAT. The math section, although similar, was very different. Other sections i studied from the book made me think the test was elementary, and when I went to take the test, I became nervous and angry because it was 20 times harder then what I had studied!! There are also two sections, the air traffic scenarios and the letter factory which were little help also. This book tells you what to do, but you do not get to practice them because they are a computer program that constantly changes on the computer screen. Do yourself a favor and get a book with a cd-rom that has the actual exercises so you can get practice in, unlike myself. I was caught completely off guard! I managed to get a 95 %, but I assure you it was no thanks to this terrible product!

Not the best,
This review is from: Air Traffic Control Test Prep (Air Traffic Control Test Preparation) (Paperback)
I took the test a couple weeks ago. The questions in the book are not very acurate of the actual test. The math section is 10 times more difficult in the book than the actual test. The questions are not possible to do in your head from the book. The letter factory test is somewhat similar and would have been usefull to have a simulator on CD. The CD that comes with the book is basically the same as the book. No simulators. The analogies section is much more difficult on the test and involve words that are not relevant in the book. The book gave me a general idea on how the test was going to go down but I would not reccommend this book as an accurate study guide for the exam. Not sure what else is out there.
