5.0 out of 5 stars Great Album!, November 30, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Tragedy Again (Audio CD)
This album continues the punk/metal sound of What Good is Grief to a God, but the formula doesn't sound as fresh as on the previous album. But considering this album came out in 1989, a time that all the other punk bands of DI's generation were either broken up or "Prison Bound", it is a great album for the time period. This is perhaps DI's greatest attempt at thrash, it is their fastest album. It is also DI's last good studio album, the only good thing they recorded after this was Live at a Dive. Overall, even though this is probably DI's least interesting album from the 80's, it still has some great tracks, the song Cocktail Flu sounds as good as anything they ever recorded. Get DI's earlier material first if you really want to hear how great they were in their prime.

5.0 out of 5 stars DI fan, November 10, 2008
This review is from: Tragedy Again (Audio CD)
I've been a DI fan since they formed in 1982, Casey Royer on vocals hasn't lost any of his energy on this release. It sounds like punk rock from the 1980's. I saw DI live from 1982-1988 and always liked their style in the vein of Adolescents and Social Distortion. They produce fun songs that are catchy punk.
