Mitchell has created a loveable monster, a quirky admixture of pop culture and academic prose. And if u r the kind of reader who remembers when a tweet was something Barbara Walters gave her dog (Kimmel) he will elucidate the phenomenon, put it in context, and digress to paisleyly dimensions. Do take his advice and read peripatetically. I had a gas, and will likely go back again and again.

This book challenges the common perspective of hardship, giving it a new vehicle, through irony.
