Book Description

August 1, 2002
From Tragedy to Triumph describes the impact of the crash of Flight 93 on a rural community in Somerseta, PA. Out of ashes of the plane crash of Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA comes a story of HOPE. It describes in detail the observations and reactions of those who saw the plane moments before it crashed, the reactions of those who saw and heard the crash, and the response of the emergency personnel who arrived quickly on the scene.

The book gives a close up view into some of the families who lost loved ones in the crash, and the many helpful ways in which the community responded to offer aid and comfort to the families of the victims.

It is a story that moves from tragedy to triumph. A powerful story that will inspire generations to come.

The book has eight pages of colored photos, with one depicting a sign that reads: "Flight 93: You fought back. It's our turn now."

This review is from: From Tragedy to Triumph (Hardcover)
I found this to be an excellant personal view of what happened. I was given a first hand view of what happened to the community where the plane crashed. I felt a unity of those who experienced it all.
