Don't miss an opportunity to read this book. The story is told from a young boy's point of view growing up on a poor family farm in rural Idaho at the turn of the century. The boys parents share a common dream that their children will grow up to be educated and the parents slave away on the family farm to save the money so that they may acheive their goal. The book is filled with thoughts of the young boy as he struggles to find the meaning of life and to fill deserving of his parents sacrafice.
