Outstanding Western,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Trail Driver (Sagebrush Unabridged Westerns) (Audio Cassette)
With the same eloquence that Zane Grey portrays the western landscape, Dufris portrays Grey's characters. If it's Adam Brite, owner and the old man of the biggest cattle drive up the Chisholm Trail, gunfighter outlaw Pan Handle Smith, trail boss Texas Joe Shipman, or the spitfire horse rangler, Reddie Bayne, Dufris dramatizes his vocalizations of these main characters as well as all the Texas cowhands. Using dignity and sensitivity, Dufris captivates listeners and involves them in the beauty, sentiment, and danger of the Old West. Smooth narration of a good "shoot'em up" cowboy yarn combined with a heart-warming story of young love is a tough combination to top.
