This review is from: On the Trail (Making of a Perfect Horse) (Hardcover)
John Lyons is amazing - and the reason he is so amazing is that he not only is a fine Christian man with such regard for his family, animals, and students - he is absolutely the best horse trainer because he creates lessons that can be learned and repeated by his students. There are no mysteries. There are no "secrets". He is surely better at all of it than the rest of us - but he fosters our growth into being reasonable horsemen. He answers questions and is never impatien. He practices what he preaches and it works! What more is there to say? The book is an amazing resource. It helps you through things and when you read the solutions, you feel a sense of relief not only because you have the answers - but you can do what you need to do without any gimmicks, expensive equipment, or hours of professional training. Forget all these other guys - stick with JOHN LYONS and his books and you will not go wrong.
