Trailblazers: Poems of Exploration,
By Syd Goldsmith "Syd Goldsmith, author of Jade ... (Taipei, Taiwan and Chautauqua, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Trailblazers: Poems of Exploration (Hardcover)
This delightful book is not just for kids. For adults, it is a trip down memory lane, of adventures we might or might not have learned about, or have forgotten. I like poetry, but so much of what is written today loses itself in a maze of obfuscatory verbiage. Trailblazers stands out for its clarity. It demonstrates once again that beautiful poetry can be created from straightforward language. My kids were entranced by this collection, and so was I.
