Hilarious! It's definitely one of those train wreck shows that you can't turn away from. The adventures of the Wildman are both ridiculous and hilarious.

I like this video because I think that fighting a skunk in the middle of 30,000 bees is really cool. And who could resist Turtleman taking three girls to a pond and teaching them how to catch turtles? I highly recommend that you download this video right away.

I purchased this video for my son to watch on his iPad. He loves watching the Turtleman, Lolly and his good buddies. It is good clean fun. They crack me up.

The wife and I LOVED this show. We waited for the year-long hiatus to end (which it just did). And now this:

Though I have decided to leave my original Season 1 review alone, let me add: buyers be good judges! I have just read a "Mother Jones" exposé about this show. It is 100% staged, animals have been drugged and killed, it is just plain ugly. The investigation seems a bit skewed, but "Mother Jones" magazine provided documents and interviews with animal wranglers condemning the whole show. Apparently, the animals are procured, storylines totally invented and then it is all staged and filmed--like "The Beverly Hillbillies". How sad. Do a search for this, it is easy to find.

EXAMPLES: When Ernie gets a deer out of a store, he was later warned by the State of Kentucky for his shenanigans with this protected deer. In an episode involving a raccoon protecting her cubs, some (if not all) later died of neglect. In an episode with a mink on a golf course, a producer held it in his home for a week until they could shoot the show. The famous zebra episode involved a drugged and endangered zebra. Ernie wrestled it to the ground, of course: it was DRUGGED!

I thought the era of this kind of deception was over, now look!
