Trailer Parks & Zombies - What's not to like?,

Have you ever felt like you were trapped in a B-Movie? That is what the main characters of Trailer Park Zombie's felt like throughout this creepy little fun romp. The story revolves around three high school friends and one really bad weekend they are having in their trailer park. The story is told from the perspective of Duke (leader, birthday boy and possibly something more) and lets us into his world and what it was like before and after the undead walked into it. With zombie hordes infiltrating their homes and reeking havoc, the three friends have to protect themselves and their neighbors from becoming a zombie buffet. Love, epic battles, a hero, a mystery - what else could you want? Plus, it keeps you guessing until the end. TPZ is a funny, gory, easy read! It has all the best aspects of those B-Movies we all love! I loved it so much I read it twice :)

I was grabbed by the title and the premise: Trailerpark Zombies. Gee -- sounds like fun. And it is. If you're a zombie fan, you will dig this book. The story has the grueling, relentless feel of "Night of the Living Dead" (a somewhat audacious, but I think legitimate comparison). There are a number of suspenseful/scary/horrific scenes - with good variation in the situations, ranging from tense walking-down-the-corridor stuff, to large-scale zombie attacks. There's plenty of gore, too, as the book illustration suggests. Jason Jones is not Stephen King, but he is a good storyteller, who knows how to construct an engaging plot and keep it moving at a nice, brisk pace. In particular, the three main characters are well-developed, and the romantic subplot works surprisingly well. I can't say it kept me up all night -- not quite. But almost. It's a page-turner (page-clicker?) that kept me reading several hours past my bedtime. And for $1.99, you can't beat the price.

Story was pretty good and was well worth the price I paid on the Kindle. Story involves a guy that kills someone on accident and starts a zombie plague. End of story has an interesting twist.

What can I say? How much can you expect from a $1.99 book about zombies in a trailer park? Answer: 100% awesomeness! This book had me glued to my seat, and the only reason it's getting four stars is because I felt the ending could've been better. Overall, this book is one of the best zombie stories I have come across, and if you check out my other reviews you'll see that I've punished myself with some real garbage.

I do not read a lot of zombie books usually, but now I will! I am so glad I got this book, it was definitely an adventure, and it has it all. It had action, adventure, and even some very funny parts. I would not hesitate to purchase another book written by this author.

This was a very enjoyable read. Good zombie book. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that I didn't care for the ending. Seemed rushed a tad. Would definately read more from this author.

Simply not worth reading. The story is not cohesive and reads like it was a 12 year old child's first draft. This should not be a published novel, it should be a free read on some horror/comedy novice writers website. At least you would be getting what you expect. Certainly not worth spending any money on.
