2.0 out of 5 stars misleading title, April 30, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Trailer Tracks: 18 Classic Southern Rock (Audio CD)
It's a good enough selection of songs, but I guess Southern Rock means anything south of the North Pole, since there is music by Free (British), Nazareth, (Scottish), BTO (Canadian) and some American music that can hardly be considered as "Southern Rock". There are tons of good southern rock songs that must be available for this type of CD. I don't know who thought up the title, but I want an ounce of whatever he/she was smoking.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Fat Catz Review, October 22, 2008
A Kid's Review

Being a musician/entertainer I also provide music during our breaks. The first time I included these tracks in one of my playlists, I received a great many compliments on the quality and variety. This a good collection. The tracks aren't overplayed out there and they're good to listen to again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not "Southern" Rock, March 8, 2005
This review is from: Trailer Tracks: 18 Classic Southern Rock (Audio CD)
Let's not forget that George Thoroughgood and the Destroyers use to be "The Delaware Destroyers" because they're from Delaware!

2010 update: Disregard my previous 2 star rating (I don't recall doing that)! This used to be "Goin' South"; I have the two CD version and it's great despite the fact that it's not all 'southern rock' per se.
