Editorial Reviews

Immediate releases the third in the Trailerhead trilogy series of albums. "Trailerhead: Triumph" is the most robust collection of the three, with over 20 tracks of epic cinematic music that has been featured in many of this century's biggest blockbuster film trailers.

With the release of the original "Trailerhead" in 2008, Imperativa Records and artist Immediate launched the 'trailer music' genre as a bona fide contemporary music category, with CD sales and downloads far exceedinging those of most film soundtracks. "Trailerhead: Triumph" continues the tradition of featuring modern orchestral and choral compositions blended with contemporary electronics and synthesis. The album was recorded in the finest concert halls and studios worldwide, including the famed Abbey Road in London, and the featured tracks have since been heard by millions of people daily in cinmeas and television.

"Trailerhead: Triumph" is produced by Yoav Goren, the award winning composer who this month, celebrates 20 years at the helm of Immediate Music, the acclaimed Hollywood based music production company. Immediate was recently honored with the Vanguard Award by the Hollywood Music & Media Awards, in recognition of its success as pioneering producers of trailer music. Goren has also won an Emmy Award for his compositions as featured in NBC's Olympic Games.

Immeidiate's reputiation for the highest quality cinematic music has resulted in over 5000 placements in film, television, trailers, commercials and video games. The selections on "Trailerhead: Triumph" have been featured in high profile worldwide marketing campaigns for dozens of films and products, among them: -The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey -Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, pts. 1 & 2 -Twilight: Breaking Dawn -Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End -Avatar -The Chronicles of Narnia -Assassin's Creed -Glenfiddich -McDonalds -UEFA 2012 Championship

The "Trailerhead: Triumph: CD also includes two bonus tracks featuring up and coming remix artist Moniker fusing modern, cutting edge dubstep with Immediate's signature orchestra and choir recordings.

4.0 out of 5 stars Terrific Third Album From Immediate Music December 11, 2012
Format:Audio CD
Immediate Music is a name that anybody who was a fan of scores in the 90's should know. They are one of the true originals when it comes to the genre of "trailer music". Today we have so many music libraries to choose from and while they all have their qualities one can't help but feel that Immediate Music is a truly streamlined experience. The company is headed by Yoav Goren and Jeffrey Fayman. This particular album consists of tracks composed by Yoav Goren, Jeffrey Fayman, John Samuel Hanson, Serge Colbert, Aleksandar Dimitrijevic, Justin Skomarovsky, Marcello De Fancisci, Derek Austin, John Roderick Graham, Larry Groupe and Moniker. Together they form once amazing musical album steeped in the epic emotions of cinematic music.

Trailer music is a genre of its own and it's now such an amazing presence that in most cases we associate the trailer music with the movie. Trailers themselves are an under-appreciated art form that has to tell a story in 2.5 minutes. There is a certain structure to advertising music, but Immediate somehow makes every track feel fresh. The building climax that suddenly drops and then ends with a huge exclamation point. A lot of people think all trailer music sounds the same, and that couldn't be further from the truth. Immediate's style is not too loud, extremely melodic, bold and intricately detailed. Most trailer music is so loud that you can barely hear anything except the bold points of the melody. Here you can make out each musical element from the trumpets, strings, chorus and percussion. It gives everything an organic feel that loses the processed sound that most other trailer music libraries have. This album is filled with all different sorts of tracks; some bold and some delicate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Music, perhaps the best "Trailerhead" album yet November 7, 2012
Format:MP3 Music
This is the third album in the TRAILERHEAD series by Immediate (who specialize in music for film & television advertising) - and what an excellent album it is! In fact, you might call "Triumph" the satisfying third act of what is a wonderful trilogy of albums. This is definitely the most uplifting of the albums so far, but the music is not without its fair share of drama. If you enjoy this type of music, then you'll definitely want to add this album to your playlist.

"Triumph" follows in the footsteps of two excellent albums, which you can find here: Trailerhead and Trailerhead: Saga.

Part of the fun of these trailer music albums is that you can recognize the music from some popular movie trailers - for example, Harry Potter fans will notice that Track 20 "The Lords Shale Rule" was used in a trailer for Deathly Hallows Pt 2. If you can identify any other tracks feel free to leave them in the comments section!

My Favorite Tracks:
01 Destiny of the Chosen
03 Tales of the Electric Romeo
20 The Lords Shale Rule

** If you buy the physical CD version, you can get an additional two tracks that are not included on the MP3 album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best yet from Immediate November 14, 2012
Format:Audio CD
Immediate's two previous Trailerhead albums were my introduction to trailer music. Triump is just more of everything good they do. It's more heroic, more evocative, more varied while still remaining true to what sets trailer music apart. I was stunned by what I heard on this third album and have played it three or four times through every day since I bought it. I can't get it out of my head. I rarely review anything, and even less rarely think something is worth five stars, but this album sure is.

"Music should bring fire from the hearts of men, and tears from the eyes of women" -Ludwig Von Beethoven
This phrase finds it's proper home here, with Trailerhead/Immediate music.

Music to conquer a thousand worlds by!

Be warned - upon listening to this, you may well be ruined for all other, lesser, musics FOREVER! This is NO EXAGGERATION! You will refer to your life before listening to this as "That crap before".

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Winner from Immediate! November 27, 2012
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
I've been "hooked" on position (or trailer) music for quite some time. Suffice it to say that my music collection is dominated by the genre.

One of my favorite artists is Immediate Music. I'm hard-pressed to think of a selection from their three-album collection that I don't enjoy - the music is that good!

My favorite tracks on this offering include Burden of Atlas, How to Control the Dream and Mercurial. The remaining selections are most enjoyable!

By the way - devotees of Immediate may try Globus on for size. Globus uses selections from Immediate and adds vocals to them - in very effective fashion!
