I have ridden in this area and surrounding ones for several years and I can say his ATV trail books are the best I have seen. They are accurate, stow away well in a pack and provide excellent information about the trails. You can plan your rides before your trip since the information is accurate.

The only suggestion I can make is a better system for rating the difficulty of the trails. While there are some really tough ones that I have turned around on, I think he rates them more difficult on average than I thought they were, in particular the moderate ones.

I highly recommend this for anyone riding in the area.

I have these books for several areas and found them to be invaluable for making decisions on where to go. Most of us have a limited number of trips we can make per season and this resource will really help you to close in on the best choices for you. Worth it's weight in gold applies here!

Excellent map book for ATV trails. Appears to have known trails listed with reasonable accurate ratings. Good value for the price.

I'm a fan of Charles Wells' jeep and ATV books, and own several covering the Moab area and Colorado trails. But I don't drive a jeep or ride an ATV, and there's the rub: I ride dirtbikes and thus am required to "make adjustments" when Mr. Wells describes various obstacles or difficulties for jeeps or ATVs. When Mr. Wells describes large boulders or other obstacles that must be taken slowing with a jeep or ATV, with a motorcycle they often must be ridden quickly. Momentum is a motorcyclist's friend. Still, the trails are well described and documented with (usually) a sufficient number of waypoints. Anybody that intends to ride the trails described in any of Mr. Wells books is best to have a copy with them. Preload the waypoints in your GPS and away you go. Just take the blue or black trail descriptions with a grain of salt. Highly recommended.

This book is money well spent. If you are going to do some ATVing and exploring. Get this book and Trails Illustrated map #141 a few weeks before you go. It will give details of all the trails some pictures and GPS Cords

The information in this trail guide is useful to everyone that plans to ride their atv. Every time we go to a new area we know where we can camp and what to expect. I enjoy the pictures to show the area and the maps are very helpful.

This book was very informative and helpful in determining where to ride our bikes and ATV's. Have all of his books!
