It's proof the "real deals" survive! Billy Don puts "COUNTRY" back on the charts. The likes of Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Willie and Waylon,Tanya Tucker, Hoyt Axton, Webb Pierce , Johnny Horton, Patsy Cline, Johnny Paycheck,and those of their "grit" will be proud to add him to their peer group.

Billy Don Burns has the courage to be honest and the compassion to be sincere....and that's country in my book.

Great album, every song is catchy and captures the essence of traditional country music. Good for car listening, at home, or anywhere else.

Billie Don's TCL is a fine example of honest, authentic bad-ass songwriting from one of the most respected guys in the business. The reason he was never as popular as his peers (Cash, Jones, Hag, Kristofferson, etc) is because he's so damn blunt. Nothing hidden with political correctedness here folks, but what a joy to listen to. Man, their's just not enough artists like this these days.

Billy Don Burns is truly an inspiration to me. It takes talent to write a beautiful song but it takes courage to write the truth, good or bad for all the world to see. I'm glad I've had the chance to be introduced to the music and the man.

IF YOU LISTEN CLOSELY YOU CAN FEEL THE HEART

and that is what true country music is.

This album is the greatest! Every song is truly wonderful. Billy Don is truly one of the best singer/songwriters left.
