U.Brown (Huford Brown) was best known as the dee-jay who took over for U-Roy after the former left King tubby's hi Fi. Not surprisingly, Brown's voice has an uncanny resemblance to that of the aforementioned U-Roy."Train To Zion" is as good a compilation collection on Brown as there is to be had, beautifully covering all stages of his brilliant career, showcasing his superb toasting style. Anchored by my all time favorite Brown tracks "Natty Hold the Handle," "Satta Dread Style," and "Stop Them Jah," this lp is an absolute gem... my only regrest is that his excellent hit "Starsky and Hutch" isn't on this album. THAT would have made the album as complete as it ever could have been. If you like good dub, roots reggae, and a premier toaster, then get this cd. A gem.

You HAVE to buy this CD! It's up there with Bob Marley's "Exodus" and The Congos' "Heart of the Congos" as one of the best roots reggae albums ever recorded. Every track here is pure bliss.U-Brown was a DJ who sampled from Johnnie Clarke quite a bit - especially on this album. Johnnie Clarke was one of the pure roots vocalists. This is such a perfect blend of DJ and roots. Buy it!
