Product Description

The Remote Trainer has 2 components; a collar device (receiver) and a hand- held remote control unit. It uses vibration or micro static shock to modify your dog's behavior and a whistle tone reward for positive reinforcement. You can use this product to deter them from such behaviors as digging, getting into the trash, chasing cars, stealing food from the counter, running away from you, etc.

Matching Receiver and Transmitter :
1. Turn on the transmitter by the switch on right side of it
2. Install the batteries for the receiver. The LED inside the receiver starts to keep flashing. Press vibration or shock button immediately after batteries are put into the receiver firmly. Then the LED will stop flashing and only light which indicates that the transmitter and the receiver have matched each other successfully.
3. If LED stops flashing on its own without press any button in the transmitter, take out the batteries. Wait for at least 10 Seconds and try step 2 again.
4. Put the cover on the receiver firmly
5. Attach the receiver to the collar.

There seem to be multiple reviews for this collar in several locations because so many different retailers are selling the exact same collar.......The only difference is the price and how they market it.

The bottom line is this collar will work, however it is not very durable or well made.

I'd say if you have an indoor dog that isn't very active, you'll probably get results with this collar. If you have an active, outdoor dog, I'd invest in a higher quality collar.

I am not a fan of shock collars, although we were going on a family vacation that approved animals as long as they didn't disturb other's. I have a Jack Russel terrier that could bark all night long if you let her.
So my husband and I thought it over for a long time and we finally decided on the remote pet trainer, when we received the collar I tested it moderately on myself to see exactly how it felt to be shock and the know what my dog would be feeling.
The collar it worked well with the remote, and had a lot of shock power to it. I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone out there wanting to buy a shock collar it has two different modes shock and vibrate. Honestly the vibrate worked just as well with my dog.

Ok I got this thing maily for the vibration to get my dogs attention. The problem with it is that after not pushing any buttons for 2 min it goes to sleep mode. That wouldn't be a problem, but it won't turn back on after it goes to sleep. I tried pushing all the buttons and everything and it won't turn back on. The only thing that works is the LED light at the top. The LCD display will be blank. The solution to this problem is to take the batterties out of it, and push the LED button to drain the juice that is still in it, and then put the batteries back in. After this you still have one more step until you get the thing to work. You have to take the collar off the dog, remove the batteries and and pair the two devices again.
Needless to say, this is a pain in the butt. It makes using this device on a consistent basis nearly impossible. I would not reccomend anyone buying this product. Spend a little bit more money and get a better product.

This product only last for around 30 minutes. After using for around 30 minutes, I put it back in the box for future training. Next day, it stop responding even I put 2 sets of brand new batteries in the receiver, nothing to do. I need to return it. I give 1 star because I cannot give less than 1, but I would if I could. This is a cheap copy from some brand name product.

This is the best little collar. We've only had it for about a week, but it's worked wonders! We have the option to just use the vibrate mode, which is perfect for our dog. He feels the vibration, and stops whatever bad behavior he's doing. I was afraid that it would be junk since it was so cheap, but it has worked out so far!

I misplaced my charger and when I logged in to see where to get a replacement I couldn't believe all the negative reviews. (Hey, send me your collars if you don't want them. I'll donate them.) I order almost exclusively from amazon but I got this off eBay sold as two shock collars and one remote so I have a spare collar and it was $44 and some change. I couldnt believe how cheap it was.

The instructions or lack thereof are a little brutal but I have it working and could not live without it. The collar/remote set is ingenious. To save battery power both the handset and collar go to sleep when not in use. The collar is motion activated and you must hold the bottom button down to wake up the handset. A little cumbersome but not a deal breaker. This is where reviewers said it didn't work. I initially thought the same thing. Had they held the lower button on the handset 1 or 2 seconds longer it would have turned on. Give the collar and handset a good initial charge. The charger has a USB end so you can charge it anywhere. Wish both ends were USB then I wouldn't have to order another charger. Because there are several buttons, at least on the 2 for 1 collar, I put white nail polish on the actual shock button. There are four modes: shock, vibrate, beeping sound that I use for checking the charge (and yesterday finding it in the yard because she some how got it off playing ball in the front yard) and one with a light icon. Not sure what that is for...yet.

I'm not a fan of shock collars either but after much deliberation i decided to give it a try on my rescued two year old Queensland Heeler. I have to say this shock collar has dramatically improved our quality of life, yes I said OUR. We've tried every possible cure for my animal aggressive Kona.

Good remote trainer for the price.
Needs to have a larger collar for larger dogs but was okay for my lab.

I was not expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised (for the price). I have a 70lb plus dog who responds very well just to the beep. I was having issues with her getting to far away and ignoring me when I tried to call her back. I have only had to use the shock part a couple of times. The good: price, weight/size of hand unit, batteries in collar unit easy to find and replace (AAA), you can adjust the level of shock. The bad: the plastic is rather on the cheap side (I only put it on my dog when I let her out), it does "go to sleep" and you need to hold the mode button down for several seconds for it to turn back on. Also once you use the shock mode it has a ten second delay before you can use the shock again. Batteries went dead after about a month and I am having trouble finding replacements for the hand unit (4A76 6V). Overall I am pleased (for the price). I have a young "fairly" mild dog who just would not listen. This unit has worked well for me. I would purchase this unit again.
