4.0 out of 5 stars basic athletic tape - very good!
The athletic tape shipped to me quickly. It is of very good quality. I think it adheres well. I use it on the bottom of my feet for plantar fasciitis, and it is comfortable to use and to remove.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Tape
After suffering blisters and a few injuries, I began to tape my feet in certain spots to relieve rubbing and add some support. Although, I had success with other brands, this tape did a poor job. The adhesive does not hold if it comes in contact with moisture, such as body sweat or standing puddles. The fabric of the tape is thin and sucks up water. The weave does...

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Athletic Tape - Highly Recommended!, June 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Trainer's Choice Athletic Tape, 15 Yards (Health and Beauty)
Trainer's Choice "Premium Athletic Tape" is exactly what was needed for wrapping and protecting our knuckles and wrists when my son and I workout on our heavy bag (with or without gloves). This tape is far superior to the generic cloth "wound care" tape we were using before finding "Trainer's Choice", and here are my observations:

+ Good Adhesion; this tape stays put once in place and while the instructions advise "Remove hair from area", that really isn't always practical and not really needed as the tape sticks will even on my fairly hairy arms and wrists and also does not rip out the hair when it is removed

+ Strong; holds up well through tough workouts hitting the speed bag and heavy bag

+ Slightly Stretchy; allows for some joint movement, yet still provides compression and support

This is very good sports tape that is comfortable, stays in place, and provides great protection to the covered areas!

Highly Recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great tape, November 18, 2011

This is great quality tape. I used to get free tape from our athletic department, but it was like nylon and had a cheap feel. This tape is sturdy feeling and does a great job sticking. I've used it mainly for taping my ankle and taping up my cleats. It did great in both scenarios.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, August 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a fantastic item at an inexpensive price. It was less costly than any offerings by more well-known manufacturers, but the quality is just as good as anything the larger companies sell. I use this to tape my big toes when I go hiking. I hike long 10-20 mile days and the tape stays firmly in place, despite my sweaty feet. I recommend this for anyone needing quality tape.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Tape, March 25, 2011

After suffering blisters and a few injuries, I began to tape my feet in certain spots to relieve rubbing and add some support. Although, I had success with other brands, this tape did a poor job. The adhesive does not hold if it comes in contact with moisture, such as body sweat or standing puddles. The fabric of the tape is thin and sucks up water. The weave does hold against flexing. Combining body sweat and flexing, I was lucky if the tape would hold in place past my first couple miles. It could be utilized if used on top of fabric (sleeves, socks, etc), but the cheap adhesive would likely get into the material.

2.0 out of 5 stars eh, not what I expected., September 8, 2011

I returned this product as soon as I received it.

First, the image does not show a serrated edge, but the product I received had serrated edges. I do not need a serrated tan lines from where I wrapped my wrist while playing tennis.

Second, although I did not use this product, I did inspect it and the adhesive does not seem very effective. Of course, I may be wrong.

I originally selected this item because of its pricing, which was the best for per yard for low volume of rolls packaging (more than one, but less than a case). I will be reordering and trying another brand.
