This review is from: Training of an Army: Camp Curtin and the North's Civil War (Hardcover)
This book is a must have for anyone with serious interest in the American Civil War. Training camps were such a large part of the life of the common soldier and none were more instrumental in the war than Camp Cutin. The boo is even more important to living historians during these early cycle years of the 150th annv. and will give living historians and reenactors a glimps into early war life which will enable them to hone their impressions for camp of instuction and other early war scenarios.
