entertaining british matron who can train ANY dog., April 19, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Training Dogs The Woodhouse Way: Nervous Dogs and Puppies [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Barbara Woodhouse was a no nonsense british country woman who could magically sooth the most skittery dog into perfect obedience. Then she would suddenly become quite a rough drill instructor with the owner. All the while this comedy of errors was being recorded by the BBC. Training dogs the Woodhouse Way, was useful and great fun. She could train absolutely any dog and even taught her dairy cow to accept a saddle and would jump fences with it. She was excentric, kind and amazing with animals. I wish PBS would get a copy of the whole series from the BBC and re-run it on PBS. I'd buy the whole series if it were available. Even if you don't adore dogs, you can really get a good laugh out of the series.
