useless
No pictures of the kata and the written descriptions are hard to follow. The history is meagre and inaccurate and overall the book is not worth 5 dollars.

Practice that you THINK it MIGHT be? Phone the dojo? That's where this book comes in. Bryan Winkelman's training manual is clear, concise, easy to understand, and has plenty of photos to show positions and techniques. The step-by-step kata outlines are a must-have...we tried to find something similar on the web, and came up with nothing but low-resolution video clips. This is also a valuable resource for parents who have young children in isshin ryu karate. If your kids are too young to read the manual, you'll be able to read it and help them practice.
