This review is from: Training Nutrition: The Diet and Nutrition Guide for Peak Performance (Paperback)
As is the case with most sports nutrition books, Training Nutrition provides a sound overview of how the body transforms food into energy which is then used to fuel the muscles, but this is not what makes this book special. The book does a tremendous job of combining, in a practical manner, nutrition and training. Whether you're in the off season, in the midst of your training program, or it is race day, this book takes the guess work out of knowing what you should eat, how much you should eat and when you should eat it.
