My 4 year old daughter uses these at night instead of a pull-up (EXPENSIVE) and they take up to 500 YEARS to decompose in a landfill. Anyway, she is a stout 40 lb girl and it was hard to find something that would work for her, other cloth diapers don't fit her shape, this is great! I just add in a cloth insert and it keeps the bed dry all night long. She is a sound sleeper & a moderate to heavy wetter.

This was quite effective and did keep wetness in. Very messy for bowel movements and harder to clean. It would be helpful if washing instructions were more visible.

My son is 2 years and 11 months, 32 pounds, and 36.5 inches tall. I got one size 2T/3T and one size 4T/5T. These training pants are different than others I've seen. On the inside it's a liner with webbing like material at the hips and on the outside is a plastic cover. The inside and outside are sewn together at the waist only. This means there's 2 leg holes to get each foot through when getting them on.
Pros: -dries in one dryer cycles as long as you turn them inside out -did not leak Cons: -harder to put on since there are 2 leg holes to go through per foot -when it's on, it looks like a diaper -wide waistband makes it harder to pull up or take down I would not recommend these training pants.

They dry fast since the waterproof part isn't sewn onto the actual liner part.
However, it's not much different than wearing a pair of gerber training pants with one of those plastic covers except that these are sewn together at the waist. I wouldn't recommend them if you have a heavy wetter, once the pee soaks through the liner these are messy! They're better for a light wetter.

Runs SMALL,

This is much smaller than the advertised 4T-5T. My kid is pretty skinny too (40 lbs/40 inches). She wears belts or gets her waistbands brought in to fit her. This thing cuts into her thighs and waist, leaves horrible marks, and causes pain. We have stopped using it. It does work in that it is waterproof. I would consider buying a larger size for her.
