this book is a great all in one package deal for any camp director, staff supervisor, or anyone in a leadership position at a camp. it provides ready to use programs, and ideas that are so simple, yet elegant. i highly recommended this book be one of the sources used when planning for a great staff orientation as well as ongoing training throughout the year. anyone having heard michael brandwein speak will find this book to mimic the ideas he presents.

I used segments of this book as a camp director of a Boy Scout summer camp. This was enormously useful, practical, and insightful. I have also had the opportunity to see Michael Brandwein train on how to do training. He knows what he is talking about, and has condensed a great deal of wisdom in this book. If you are serious about training and energizing your staff, this is a must have book.
