This is for smaller children just starting off w/puzzles, but it is hardy and a good book to take places w/the child to entertain him/her. I'd buy it again and recommend it...especially if your kid loves trains like mine do.

This book is great! I bought it for my 21-month-old and he loves lifting the flaps to discover what is behind each one! There is a little teddy bear that children can find on each page. The book is very durable and will last a long time. Highly recommended for little ones :)

I would also recommend Construction Sites, Tractors, Planes, Emergency Vehicles, and Diggers from this series!

I purchased this book on the strength of the reviews. I bought the board book version because choosing between board book and hardback for a lift the flap book, it seemed that a board book would be sturdier, and we have a 2 yr old. Well, surprise. The board version has no flaps. It's quite small, about 2 inches x 2.5 inches. No "hidden bears to find" as described by another reviewer. If you want that feature, I suppose you need to choose the hardback version.

I bought this book for my son months ago and he loves it! Lots to look at and talk about. Each page has a teddy bear hidden under one of the flaps and the child is supposed to find it. My son is over 2 years old and has no interest in this part of the book...yet:) To sum up, great book = happy toddler!
