Uno de los mejores discos de musicos cubanos contemporaneos, Gema y Pavel se inscriben dentro de la "Novisima Trova Cubana" con ritmos propios de su tierra e influencias de toda America Latina. La exquisita voz de Gema y la sensibilidad de Pavel en la guitarra hacen de este disco una joya de nuestros dias; buen ejemplo de la musica que estan haciendo los jovenes de la Cuba de hoy.

This music is great, just a reflexion of the great personalities of the performers and composers. These people put their hart in every note. Excelente disco. Conozco a los artistas y sin duda recomiendo que compren este disco, les encantará.

Excelente disco - no se va a arrepentir, August 11, 2007

Música y letras excelentes. Este disco no puede faltar en la discografía de aquellos que adoren la buena música. Aunque muy fresca y accesible al oyente promedio, se nota que su música y ejecución viene de gente que ha estudiado su instrumento y además están muy en contacto con su cultura, literatura en general... en fin saben lo que están haciendo. Su música es realmente "inclasificable" ya que mezclan sonidos latinos con atributos de otras formas musicales, más alusiones a la tradición santera/yoruba. Ciertamente éste es el mejor disco de Gema y Pável, seguido muy de cerca de ArtBembé en cuanto a calidad, aunque éste último es diferente en sonidos y estilo. Canciones como Lo feo, Parar de fumar, Helado sobre ruedas, Domingo AM, El loco... son geniales. Gema canta muy bien, además de que la conocí y es muy simpática. En fín, no se va a arrepentir de comprar este disco.

This CD contains the most beautiful music. Gema's voice is rich and sultry, and Pavel's skill on the guitar is amazing. The combination of their own original work with the work of others works wonderfully. LO FEO is a wonderful song that I first heard in Havana in 1991 where I had the pleasure of meeting Gema and Pavel. I still have my cassette of their music that they gave me then and am thrilled to have both of their CD's. I look forward to future releases. This is a must have.
