Some (not all) of the tracks on "Trample the Eagle and the Dragon and the Bear" are partially rehashes of track on earlier Alpha & Omega albums. But that is definitely a minor caveat; all of the tracks feel fresh, and those that are based on earlier dubs are enhanced by new lyrics. The colourful vocals of superstars Lee Perry and Gregory Isaacs (as well as those of the completely unknown Reuben Masters) blend surprisingly well into the meditative, steadfast rhythms of A&O. An excellent soundtrack to your afterparty and your day job alike. Now, if I only had the dimmest idea of what they mean with the title of the album, or indeed what exactly they are singing about...
