Tom Schnabel, for many years the musical director of Santa Monica's trend-setting public radio station KCRW, has put together another mood-altering collection from premier and upcoming world artists. Just enough of each to, perhaps, induce one to seek out more of favorite performers. Schnabel has also taught "world-music" classes at UCLA, and is a most qualified "guide" for those seeking an entry into the strange and exotic world of "world." The world is shrinking, and one of the more salubrious effects of this is that music becomes more accessible to all who have ears to hear. D.Was/Not@aol.com

This CD is awesome. My doctor is teaching me healing through movement and breathing and she uses this CD as part of her healing modality. The imagery and movements this music evokes are incredibly healing!
