Ultrahard european trance. This is amazing music to wake up to in the morning! Packs ya full of good energy for the next 10 hours!! There's only one problem which cost this CD it's fifth star... It's not mixed!! All in all a VERY well rounded CD with some sick beats. Definately worth the money!!!

... well, I guess you could say I give it a 4.9. The songs are incredible, but due to the DJ-oriented nature of Trance music, most of the tracks have solid intros, but no real "end" to them, just a sudden fade out. This, of course, is so they can be mixed seamlessly into the next song by a DJ, only in this case, they aren't, so it falls just a tad short of perfect. The label it's on also puts out "Trance Impulse", which again is exellent but warrants an identical review. I do strongly recommend these two albums (and not one over the other, as they are blissfully interchangeable), but I suggest a good set of headphones over a loud stereo system as the best listening method for them.

I purchased this CD because anything that comes from "Neurodisc" is good stuff. Like the other reviewer, I agree that the sounds are intoxicating...Great driving music. If you like this, I recommend anything from DJ Taucher. "Trance Stimuli" deserves 5 stars. Neurodisc has a good thing going.

This CD from neurodsic is one of the only ones i like despite buying other mixes such as Perfect Trance 1, Trance impulse and Progressive Trance. Despite the fact that this Cd is getting pretty old and isn't mixed; it is still a good CD to come back to and say, hey, this is pretty good. I've listened to trance for many years and the newer music is either irritating pounding repetitive hardstyle giving you a headache or epic which is like ... just boring. The dutch have a way with this trance...just the way i like it. It can retain it's 'coolness' despite it's age. Still a favorite. Try It!

Of all the sub-genres there are in dance music (house, techno, europop, etc...etc...), trance is by far my favorite because of the beats which makes the music fun to dance to and the infectious melodies. When I started getting into trance music, I bought as many compilations there were that had the word 'trance' in the title whenever I hit my favorite used cd store. One of those compilations were "Trance Stimuli". I never heard of Neurodisc records but I thought it was well worth checking out. "Trance Stimuli" overall is a good trance cd however I honestly think that it could have been mixed better. Most trance cds that I have heard are mixed continuously where one song ends and the next song begins, giving the listener that he or she is in a nightclub dancing to the music. The songs are good although I would prefer to hear vocals in them. I say "Trance Stimuli" is an ideal cd for people who want to get into trance music and don't know what cd to begin with, this is a good introduction to trance music. For longtime trance junkies like myself, go with mix cds by your favorite djs for a more clublike sound where the songs flow from one to the other without a break in the song.

I picked this cd up the other day because it features one of my favorite songs on it, Mistral - Rhythm of Summer, and was very pleasantly surprised by it. It's quite good.

As I said, most, if not all, of the songs on it are dutch trance. Most are excellent. Iin particular, C Sharp, Holding On, Rhythm of Summer are great.

My only real complaint with this cd is that it's formatted oddly. The cd is unmixed (ie, the songs don't seamless blend together), so it's not really great for listening or dancing, the breaks between songs mar the experience, yet the songs are incomplete, faded out early, so this cd isn't terribly useful for DJs. In particular, the two songs remixed by Steve Morley are very very short.

The company that produced this disc really really should have either gotten a DJ to mix the songs together, or have left them alone.

I recently purchased this CD and I find it full of high energy, with an intoxicating sound. I've been listening to it in my car on the way to work in the morning, and it definitely raises my spirits and gets me ready for the day! Trance is a new musical concept to me and I'm not sure what the difference is between it and techno, but this is enjoyable. A good purchase.

This CD is a fairly good trance CD. It has that upbeat and soothing sound that trance is known for. However, it can be too repetitive at times.

Worth it's money. The cd is overall Ok to me. If you have an extra 13 buck just get the ESSENTIAL IBIZA BOXED SET

its better and has a more rave feel.
